It’s a bit of a trip down memory lane for me.My first full Sidchrome Imperial tool box cost $105 in 1973 and still in use today. Then another full size Metric toolbox in 1990 cost $600.The 3/8” tool set comes in a steel box.The kit has better packaging and clearly stamped and much more ergonomic and brightly polished chromed now days.Gone has the horrible yellow plastic that held the sockets in place an the superior polyethylene that keeps the whole kit in place.I found the universal joint lacked the coil spring which I found helpful.Hopefully this kit will last as long as my original Aussie kits. And unlike the mid 70’s,Sidchrome makes a tool for every conceivable job.
