Getting the most from your Router

Ideal for table mounting or hand-held use, Triton’s multi award-winning routers have excellent plunge range, top-of-table height adjustment and automatic spindle lock. A single button switches the router from conventional plunge to fixed-base router with rack and pinion height adjustment.

Tip 1
Respect the power of the machine and work within its capacity when using cutters.

Tip 2
Position the router with the on-off switch on the left for easier operation.

Tip 3
Remove the hose end fitting and wind the hose into the socket, turning it anti-clockwise.

Tip 4
Remove the baseplate and use existing screw holes as a template to mount the router to your table.

Tip 5
Remember to reset the height winder at its fullest extent to allow for full plunge and longer cutters.

Tip 6
When routing trenches some distance in from an edge, fit the fence to the long end of the base.
