It is the lightest cordless hammer in the 18-Volt class.

4. System-compatible 18-Volt battery pack
The battery packs of the BHA 18 are available with Metabo AIR COOLED technology as NiCd or as lithium-ion (Li-Power) storage batteries. They can be used in all 18-Volt machines.
5. Practical shoulder strap
Just clip it on: The shoulder strap ensures that you can always carry the BHA 18 and need not have to pick it up awkwardly after work interruptions.

The rubber coating is for a secure grip, even for continuous use.
7. Function changeover switch

The cooler a battery is during charging, the faster it can be used again.
Every battery heats up when used, which impedes immediate, effective recharging.
The new, patented AIR COOLED charging technology takes this problem out of the equation, since the battery is cooled down in the course of the charging process.
This happens by cold air being sucked through the battery pack.
The charging process thus becomes around 30% quicker, the batteries last clearly longer and you save yourself the hassle of hanging around waiting for the batteries to charge.
A further outstanding feature: the refresh function (only with ACS 15 Plus).
It ensures that performance-impairing varying charging levels of cells in one battery pack are brought back into line.
